Dining Room, Villa Lucia

Robert Mondavi, Jr. has just signed to create a wine curriculum at Villa Lucia near Lucca, Italy. Lydia Mondavi, his wife, has joined him to share her spa expertise in producing custom-designed spa programmes for guests at Villa Lucia.

Participants in the school's week long courses will get to know the area's terroirs as well as the flavours and styles of their wines, from classic Chiantis to Super-Tuscans.

This stunning 15th century villa and grounds are a great setting for The Rhode School of Cuisine cooking school and or private villa rental (see http://www.rhodeschoolofcuisine.com.)

The amenities are excellent, the décor and design have all recently been completed by London-based interior designer, Terri Rhode.

Orginal therapies at the spa include a grape-seed antioxidant soak in a 200 year old stone bathtub.

Villa Lucia

Prices range from $2,800 - $3,800 per person for a week long course which includes incredible accommodations. Spa treatments begin at $125.

Rhode School of Cuisine owns two additional properties: Le Mas Des Oliviers (Theoule Sur Mer) and Dar Liqama (Marrakech), pics included. Same courses offered at all properties. Dar Liqama, also recently designed by Terri Rhode, can accommodate up to 24 people.
